PHILOSOPHY

The Sohier concept or Analytic Physiotherapy was invented by a specialist in human mechanics, Pr Raymond Sohier. His approach treats all kind of joint disorders.

Based on precise knowledge of anatomy, physiology and biomechanics of the human body, it aims at realigning articular chain for a perfect congruency of joints which will restore the biological balance of articular tissues.

(Cf above photograph, MRI of a lumbar spine. The disc of the fifth vertebrae regains life after Analytic readjustments).

Sports physiotherapy treats a range of conditions including acute sports injuries, strains, sprains, muscle, tendon and ligament repairs, tendonitis, hand injuries, shoulder dislocation, foot or ankle dysfunction and surgery.

We emphasize the importance of early injury recognition and treatment. In conjunction with receiving a course of treatment, flexibility exercises will be implemented. Progressive exercises program will be implemented to ensure the injury site returns to fully functional state.

Using the Sohier Analytical physiotherapy technique, we promote healing by normalizing joints function which in turns enhance performance.

Even in the case of a healthy person, we believe our body benefits from exercising which can be stretching, strengthening, cardio training, posture and balance. We also provide ergonomic and manual handling training.

Physitrack access is provided to patients in order to assist with complaince of home exercise program.

Therapeutic massage is usually part of your physiotherapy treatment as an adjuvant to releasing muscles tension and stress.

Manual lymphatic drainage and circulatory massage may improve your circulation, helps remove waste products, reduce swelling and muscle tension. Highly effective technique in the treatment of lymphoedema.

Dry needling uses acupuncture needles. It is an effective and efficient technique for the treatment of muscular pain and myofascial dysfunction.
